I was wondering if I can actually do what I always wanted to do- a diary of some sort. I actually started writing stuff about 4 years ago on a thick spiral notebook (cause I didn't even know blogs exist). It lasted 12 days. I can name a lot of reasons but the bottom line is I got lazy.
About 2 years ago, I don't know how I stumbled to my daughter's blog but I did. Since then, I have been a follower. At that time it was still on xanga. Her job requires her to travel a lot. Since we really don't call each regularly, that was my way of knowing that she's alright.
I used to share Lisa's computer (my younger daughter) before she flew out of the nest. I wanted to start my own blog but there is a speed issue on that PC - and I would only have time when she's not using it.
Anyway, I finally put my mind to it when I came back from a 5-week vacation to attend my HS grand reunion and more happenings. I did start my rookie rambling. Then again, it took a while before I posted the next one.

I'll start the year with this:
January 1st - We really didn't do much because I had to go to work the next day. I could have taken the day off but since we will be on a 4-wk vacation, I had to save my leave. We ended up playing our favorite game TOITS.

January 2nd - At work, I'm glad that it was a quite day. After work, although it is a little cold, we decided to bring Janiya to the movies. On the way, I asked Janiya if she has been to the movies at all. Her answer was No so I told her that no one is allowed to talk (she's 3 and a half). Then she asked if she can have popcorn. Got me thinking "has she really NOT been to the movies before?" She was so behaved and focused although towards the end I think she got a little bored. On the way home, she kept saying that mice are not suppose to talk. BTW, we saw Tale of Desperaux. At home, when her mom came to pick her up, she asked her "How's the movies? Did You like it?" Janiya said " Yes, but Papa was talking."

January 3rd - Leah and Lisa took us(Grace, Ate Bertie, Dad, Mom and Janiya) out to dinner at McCormick and Schmicks @ National Harbor..

January 4th - Went to church at 10:00.
January 5th - Back to reality - work, work, and work.
January 6th - 7 days to go.. bakasyon na..so excited to escape this crazy cold weather.
